In the documentary Where to Invade Next, Michael Moore travels to different countries around the world in hopes to uncover the good factors that they implement in their societies, and bring them home to America. Throughout his adventure he met with many different people of various roles such as citizens, students, CEO’s, and even a president of one of the countries. Throughout his trip he visited 5 different countries. He touched on different topics such as prison systems, drugs, vacation time, free university, women in charge, and elementary nutrition. He started his journey in Italy. It was here that he discovered many different factors about Italians way of vacationing. In Italy it was a law to give employees 8 weeks of paid time off each year. Along with large amounts of vacation time the Italians are given two hours for their lunch break each day. Moore then took all these new ideas, and brought them home to America in hope to implement them into the way we run things here in America.
